Choice Financial Gives $6,500 in Scholarships to Area Students

Lynn Paulson, Choice Financial CEO, proudly announces this year’s high school scholarship recipients.  Six recipients received $1,000 each and one recipient received $500 in memory of Lois Walz, a former West Fargo location employee. 

 

The recipients are: Hedan Zeng  (Red River High School, Grand Forks), Amanda Kingsbury (Grafton High School, Grafton), Tara Romfo (Walhalla High School, Walhalla), RaeEllen Crockett (Langdon High School, Langdon), Megan Ternquist (Fordville-Lankin High School, Fordville), and Ashley Reiter (West Fargo High School, West Fargo).  Rachel Deyle (Fargo South, Fargo) was the recipient of the $500 Lois Walz Scholarship.   

 

“Choice Financial places a high value in supporting the education of students in our marketplace.  We accomplish this through our scholarship program, numerous contributions to education and youth-related causes, and offering students internship positions within the bank.  Programs such as these help enrich the educational experience that our local students deserve,” said Lynn Paulson.

 

The Choice Financial scholarship winners were chosen based on the following criteria: students who plan on furthering their education, have at least a 3.0 GPA, demonstrate other scholastic achievements, show strong leadership abilities, and participate in community events.
